Matte Paint Challenge - Week 1 - Lost in the wild

My entry for the first week of the Matte Paint challenge under the theme of 'Lost in the wild', part of the larger competition 'Digital Universes'.

The requirements were to mostly use Matte Paint's images, either from the pack which they supply or their online collection. A stipulation was that digital painting be kept to an absolute minimum, and to stick to standard matte painting techniques.
